Cadence® OrCAD® Capture offers a comprehensive solution for entering, modifying, and verifying complex system designs quickly and cost-effectively. Whether used to design a new analog circuit, revise a schematic diagram for an existing PCB, or design a digital block diagram with an HDL module, OrCAD Capture allows designers to enter, modify, and verify the PCB design. OrCAD Capture CIS integrates the schematic design application with the features of a component information system (CIS).

CIS allows designers to search, identify, and populate the design with preferred parts. With easy access to company component databases and part information, designers can reduce the amount of time spent researching needed parts. 
 

PSpice A/D Circuit Simulator

Cadence® PSpice® A/D is a full-featured analog simulator with support for digital elements to help solve virtually any design challenge—from high-frequency systems to low-power IC designs. The powerful simulation engine integrates easily with Cadence PCB schematic entry solutions, improving time to market and keeping operating costs in check. An interactive, easy-to-use graphical user interface provides complete control over the design process. Availability of resources such as models from many vendors, built-in mathematical functions, and behavioral modeling techniques make for an efficient design process.


Cadence PSpice Advanced Analysis

Automatically fine tune your circuits

Using optional Cadence PSpice® Advanced Analysis capabilities, designers can automatically maximize the performance of circuits. Four important capabilities—sensitivity analysis, optimization, Smoke (stress analysis), and Monte Carlo (yield analysis)—enable engineers to create virtual prototypes of designs and maximize circuit performance automatically. Measurements across multiple simulation profiles can be processed together.

Cadence® OrCAD® PCB Editor, as part of the Cadence OrCAD PCB Designer suite, is an intuitive, easy-to-use, constraint-driven environment for creating and editing simple to complex PCBs. Its extensive feature set addresses a wide range of today’s design challenges and manufacturability concerns.

OrCAD PCB Editor provides a powerful and flexible set of floorplanning tools. Powerful shape-based shove/hug interactive etch creation/editing provides a highly productive interconnect environment. Dynamic shape capability offers real-time copper pour plowing/healing functionality during placement and routing iterations. The software can also generate a full suite of phototooling, bare-board fabrication and test outputs, including Gerber 274x, NC drill, and bare-board test in a variety of formats. 

OrCAD Signal Explorer

Pre- and post-route signal integrity analysis


Cadence® OrCAD® Signal Explorer provides a scalable, cost-effective pre- and post-layout system interconnect design and analysis environment. Signal Explorer is tightly integrated with Cadence OrCAD PCB Editor and is a component of the Cadence OrCAD PCB Designer suites. Training

Steady innovation in today's electronics & electrical CAD software has created a training challenge for virtually all engineering departments. While more engineers now have design tools readily available at their desks, many do not have enough hands-on experience with their tools to use them productively. Those who do have experience face the challenge of staying current and learning how to best take advantage of the latest version of software.
GSI offers several different training options to meet your individual needs and budget.
  1. To meet the challenges of today's market, GSI has created a virtual classroom training program. GSI's virtual classroom training is a half-day training session delivered over the Internet. Participants receive a hard copy of the training manual a week prior to the class, and use the manual as a reference or workbook as they follow along virtually with a live instructor. When it is time to do the lab exercises, you can access a virtual desktop which has the software and lab files already installed. Breakout sessions are available if you need special attention. 
  2. GSI has developed a series of two and three day classroom training sessions on several popular topics in PCB design. These courses are presented across many organisations by full-time professional instructors with many years of hands-on industry experience. Includes OrCAD Capture, Analog Simulation with PSpice A/D.
  3. GSI Online is a series of self-guided Internet training solutions that enables you to become highly confident and proficient in all aspects of PCB design, circuit simulation, or timing analysis.
  4. GSI can arrange onsite training classes of five or more students on all the products we provide and support. These on-site sessions are ideal for customers.
